COOLING GUIDE

Get more from every cool night.

A few simple setup and room habits can make a noticeable difference to cooling performance.

Start ahead

Turn RECONNECT on 30 to 60 minutes before bed. Use Turbo when you want a quicker start.

Keep the bed made

Leave your fitted sheet and usual bedding over the Pad while it pre-cools to help hold the temperature around the sleep surface.

Keep tubing clear

Avoid tight bends, pinches or kinks that can restrict water flow.

Give the Unit space

Leave at least 6 in (15 cm) around the Control Unit so it can move heat away efficiently.

ROOM CONDITIONS

Your room still matters.

RECONNECT cools the bed, not the room. We recommend using it in rooms below 86°F (30°C). In a very warm bedroom, air conditioning or better room airflow can improve performance.

HUMIDITY

Colder is not always better.

Very low settings in humid rooms can cause condensation. If dampness happens only during cooling, raise the cooling setting and reduce room humidity where practical.

If moisture appears during heating, the reservoir level drops noticeably, or wetness returns in the same area, stop using RECONNECT, unplug it and contact Support because this may indicate a leak.

IF COOLING FEELS SLOW

Check these five things.

Has it had enough time?

Allow around 30 to 45 minutes to approach your setting. Starting 30 to 60 minutes before bed gives the system more time to work.

Is the room unusually warm?

Cooling performance changes with room conditions. Bring the room temperature down where practical, especially in very warm weather.

Can the Control Unit breathe?

Keep the vents clear and leave at least 6 in (15 cm) of open space around the Unit.

Are the tubes kinked?

Follow the tubing from the Unit to the bed and straighten any tight bends or pinched sections.

Does the system need water?

If E3 appears, add water and continue topping up until the alert stays off.

STILL NOT RIGHT?
