SETUP GUIDE

Set up in minutes. Sleep your way.

From unboxing to first night, here is how to get RECONNECT ready.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Four things to have ready.

Clean water

Have about 51 to 57 fl oz (1.5 to 1.7 L) of distilled, filtered or pure water ready.

A towel or tray

Keep one beneath the Control Unit while you fill and prime the system.

A level surface

Place the Control Unit beside the bed on a firm, level surface with its vents clear.

A nearby outlet

Use a standard US 110–120V, 50/60Hz wall outlet within reach of the 4.9 ft (1.5 m) power cord.

STEP BY STEP

About 20 minutes. Once.

  1. STEP 01

    Lay the Mattress Pad

Lay it flat with the textured side up, pull each corner snug and secure the elastic straps.

  2. STEP 02

    Place the Control Unit

Set it beside the bed on a firm, level surface. Keep the vents clear.

  3. STEP 03

    Connect the tubes

Remove any protective caps and push the Pad tubing firmly into the matching Unit ports.

  4. STEP 04

    Power on

Plug the Unit in and switch it on. An E3 alert at first setup simply means the reservoir needs water.

  5. STEP 05

    Add water

Open the reservoir and fill slowly until the E3 alert stops. Stay below the maximum line.

  6. STEP 06

    Prime the loop

As water fills the tubing, the level can drop and E3 may return. Keep topping up until the alert stays off.

  7. STEP 07

    Choose a mode

Press Mode repeatedly until the cooling or heating option you want appears. Choose Custom, Turbo or Smart Rhythms, shown as Auto Sleep on the Unit, then set your temperature.

  8. STEP 08

    Make the bed

Put your fitted sheet over the Pad, then add your usual bedding.

FIRST NIGHT

A few habits make it easier.

Start ahead

Pre-cool or pre-heat 30 to 60 minutes before bed.

Room conditions matter

For best performance, use RECONNECT in rooms below 86°F (30°C).

Try Smart Rhythms

Start the built-in nine-hour program at bedtime and let the Unit change the setting automatically through the night.

Keep the tubes clear

Make sure the tubing is not bent and there are no obvious air bubbles in the loop.

Weekly hot cycle

Run a hot cycle about once a week to help keep the bed fresh and dry.

Top up occasionally

After setup, add clean water about every two to three months. The Unit will alert you.
